xperia p notification problem

day b4 yesterday i updated my xperia p to ICS. till now all went good but just 10 min b4 notification ringtone doesn't seem to work, the phone only vibrates while notifying something(new message, or any popup....etc ). please help me out in this. tried changing my notification tone, set the volume to max but nthng worked for me.

I just resolve this problem three days back by update my phone using pc companion. up till now no issue found. so my recommendation is to update it:smileyhappy:

Using Astro File Manger there is Notification folder in that Delete all the Notification tone . If u see the Notification tone again then delete that . I hope these may help Xperia P users.

Please tel us which where to exaclty luk for i can see a "notifications" folder in /mnt/sdcard. there were few hangout ringtones there...is that enuf..or do have to delete sum other tones inside other folders???

is there any specific file types u targetted while searching..

any help would be deeply appretiated...

hi! have you tried the latest firmware update 6.1.1.B.1.54 from sony. i think this bug has been fixed in this latest firmware. update your phone and see the difference. i updated my phone 3-4 days ago and my notifications are working well since then. if i find the same notification problem then let you know guys.:smileyhappy:

yeah i hope that woudl solve the problem too..but unfortunately it didn't ..i updated my phone this monday 3rd, dec..but the notification problem is again there since yesterday evening i guess...
