I recently bought the Xperia P. After two months of use, one day the phone suddenly went dead after I restarted it. It doesnot turn on, connect to PC or charger too. There has been no dropping incident or upgrading issue,how-so-ever.
The phone doesnot have a local warranty but only that of Sony's regional warranty. How should I get it claimed under warranty? The phone belongs to Dubai.
Regards.
Force a shutdown vol up+power button until the phone vibrates 3 times. But you need the phone to be connected to a wall charger.
Charge your phone for atleast 2 hours and then try to switch it
What happens when you try to switch it on ? Colour of Led when you do so ?
Or as described by alexdon give a force restart
Press and hold Power Button and Volume Up button at the same time
5 Seconds > (Forced) Restart Phone
10 Seconds > (Forced) Shutdown Phone
I have tried all those restart methods and software reinstallation but nothing helps. When I connect to charger the red LED just blinks for a sec and nothing happens after it. I would appreciate if someone tells me how to claim the warranty from SONY.
Just carry the bill of the phone and visit a service centre
