Xperia P ICS update

Hy i was wondering since almost everybody from this world got the ICP update to their Xperia P phone, why i dont get to my phone the ICS update already ? Im from Romania, and i purchased my phone not from romania but from Germany.

Earlier got the Xperia Neo an i got the ICS 4month after it was released. Its just frustrating that everybody (almost) got the ICS, waas released almost a month, and the thing is that i realy dont want to get the ICS on December or later ...

Thank you.

The update is being rolled out gradually and you will receive a notification in your Xperia P when it's available for you.

You can always do the manuall update (see instructions at xda-developers).

Good if you have problems with xperia update P to know that it's very possible that updates will not be available even in any country. I have one that is just in the UK but allowed me to upgrade to Android 4.0.4

It is possible that your geolocation to be the problem and not the phone.

Good day and good luck and patience!

@sks13sakis - My SI number is: 1262-1484. @m@xym dont want a manual update (means rooting as i know correct me if im wrong)

@calinsab Ms if the geolocation is the reason than i will get the ICS at christmas i guess, its just frustrating to get something out already, and yet so late.

Thanks for the answers.

manually updating your phone doesn't require rooting nor unlocking the bootloader

Which is the better way to upgrade to ICS - Self upgrade through over the air or PC companion or would it be better to get it done from a Sony centre? I am kinda concerned about meesing up with the upgrade.

The best Way is Sony update service=(Update+Factory data reset)Option..

After Using Sony xperia Sola and the nXperia P and Now Sony xperia S..

Many people saying bug and issues in update...But i have no bug yet...Battery life is trilliant..No wifi Problem, No signal Droping...
