Xperia P album(gallery) not opening

Hi,

i brought "xperia p "phone week ago.today i updated to ICS.however me facing problem.Album(gallery) is not opening after ICS update.Please help how to solve the problem .i tried to restarting phone many times but didnt help.

First try to do factory reset  Settings>Backup & reset>Factory data reset( Note: Back up ur phone memory)

Even though if you face the issue then i recommend you to perform the software repair with SUS

Album >> clear the cahce and data.

then restart the phone.

any image editing app must be removed or any app which has option to view pics apart from native ALBUM app.

even if the problem doesnt gets solved, then .................

After performing factory reset plus wipe data.

The same problem here with my Xperia P Android version 4.0.4. I tried to clear the cache but the button was disabled, so I cleared the data, and restarted the phone but the Album app still not working. Sorry, but I don't think that it's OK that I have to factory reset my 8 hours old phone.

Maybe I will downgrade to 2.3.7 because I experienced problems with the camera too. (I didn't worked after a period of (up)time so I restarted the phone and it solved the problem.)

there is no need to factory reset or downgrade or anything,.

just perform the software repair with SUS because my problem got solved with it.make sure u take backup of ur contacts and ur apps.
