Xperia Neo V "clear cache and clear data" problem

My sony ericsson neo V phone was very slow and got a message that low space. So i wnet settings-> Application-> Manage applications and removed the data. All my contacts were removed. Is there any any way that I can restore my phone contact?

That doesn't make sense, you will have to select an app such as the phonebook to delete your contacts, anyway, did you synced your contacts with google?

No Yaar. It is having only partial contact details.. Not full.

As we are clearing, does it mean that we are deleting the data?

For sure I didnt remove any data from contacts/ anything related to contact.

But I cleared data from some apps initiated by the mobile.

You have to be more specific, which apps? also did you synced your phone with Google?

If you have a backup in SD or Google, u can restore it...

For future make a habit of Exporting your contacts to SD card ( Go to Menu > Contacts > More > Export Contacts )

Also sync with Google ...

You can use backup softwares like My BackUp https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rerware.android.MyBackup&hl=en

Put a weekly schedule so it will back up automatically ...

Do a full backup of your phone data and do a factory reset
