Xperia Neo Light Sensor

Hello guys. This sensor is vey annoying to me.I really want an option to stop it.I fould an app in the market but it requires to root my phone and I don't want to.Do you have any other kind of solutions to disable the Light Sensor ? If not,but you want, let's make few more discussions about it and hope an option for disabling or enabling the sensor in the incoming ICS update Slightly_smiling_Face

brightness won't change if you set it to min or max Slightly_smiling_Face

thats the only thing you can do without rooting Slightly_smiling_Face

( other option - paint the sensor Smiling_Face_with_open_mouth_&_closed_Eyes Smiling_Face_with_open_mouth_&_closed_Eyes )

You guys are getting it wrong!!!! Slightly_smiling_Face

I u cover the light sensor(with tape :smileysilly:)
then the phone will think that u r in a low lighting conditions and

then it will reduce the screen brightness to the least level Neutral_Face

i recommend u to use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hatcyl.android.Disable_Auto_Brightness&feature=sea...

(note: Root required)

nopes nopes nopes buddy,
if you cover the light sensor, its value would be set to 0

now set the brightness to the desired value and it won't flicker anymore as ambient sensor's value would remain constant Winking_Face
