Hello guys.This sensor is vey annoying to me.I really want an option to stop it.I fould an app in the market but it requires to root my phone and I don't want to.Do you have any other kind of solutions to disable the Light Sensor ? If not,but you want,let's make few more discussions about it and hope an option for disabling or enabling the sensor in the incoming ICS update
brightness won't change if you set it to min or max
thats the only thing you can do without rooting
( other option - paint the sensor
)
nabeel you'll be liable if he follows your suggestion
I have covered my sensor with a piece of electrical tape. :smileygrin:
thats great :smileygrin:
hahah :smileygrin:
You guys are getting it wrong!!!!
I u cover the light sensor(with tape :smileysilly:)
then the phone will think that u r in a low lighting conditions and
then it will reduce the screen brightness to the least level
i recommend u to use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hatcyl.android.Disable_Auto_Brightness&feature=sea...
(note: Root required)
nopes nopes nopes buddy,
if you cover the light sensor, its value would be set to 0
now set the brightness to the desired value and it won't flicker anymore as ambient sensor's value would remain constant
