Hello,
My Xperia Miro won't start! I really don't know what to do. I press the power button for multiple seconds, like i would start it, but nothing happens. Ok, maybe the battery is empty. So I start charging it and again nothing happens. The screen doesn't even show the battery, which tells you its charging!
My smartphone is just completely dead! Please help
Thanks
I would suggest trying a software repair on the phone first of all. This can be done via the PC Companion or the Update Service. This link may help with that http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/54636.
If this does not resolve the issue then the phone would need to be sent for repair, your local support team can help provide you with info for that.

hi i have the same problem but i have a mac so pc companion wont work
cheers
You need sony bridge for mac.
Now you suggest to try a software update first via PCC. But when i try to do that, first thing it tells me is that I need to have my SIM card (ok) PIN entered and the screen unlocked. But how am I suppose to insert an PIN and unlock the screen if the phone is dead?
PCC should be able to overtake the PIN if the phone is turned off.

Sony bridge for mac will only connect to xperia if it switched on - cannot detect otherwise and as far as I can see there is repair option its just for transferring files.
Poor support for Mac users with Sony phones
