xperia mini keeps on rebooting.
when phone is turned on, the screen flashes SONY then XPERIA.
it will show my home screen for about 2seconds and immediately, it restarts by itself.
SONY -> XPERIA -> home screen (2sec) -> reboots
Have tried hard resets on the phone but it didn't help;
a. holding on the power button and the volume down
b. holding the power button plus the volume down and home screen
Have also removed the sd card from the phone and turned it on again but still did not fix the issue.
As I recall, my xperia mini is currently running on Jelly Bean android os.
Is this a problem with its ROM? S.O.S.

Have you tried to remove the SIM?
Also,have you unlocked bootloader?
Hi @alexdon. Thanks for your reply
yes, I have removed the SIM too.
Haven't tried on unlocking bootloader as I am not familiar with the process.

You may need to perform a software repair using PC companion.The process will erase all internal memory.You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 60% battery.
Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).
Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).
I have googled though on how to unlock boot loader on my xperia mini and it showed me this steps below:
However, I can't do the steps mentioned above because the phone will restart automatically after it displays my home screen.
