Xperia mini pro SK17i camera quality

I had android version 2.3.4(4.0.2.a.0.58 ) and camera was very awesome hd quality and all,but when i upgraded my Xperia mini pro to 4.0.4 ICS

you can see now pixels on camera and camera is very bad,its not 720p anymore i set it on 5mp and 720p but nothing happes,camera looks same.

So please can you help me.

I thank you for this feedback. I have already passed on feedback about the camera running on ICS but I will update with your examples as well.

I also have same problem with my xperai mini after ICS.

I use to take 10-12 photos of various books, documents per day.

With GB I used to take 2 pages in single snap and images were awsome. But now even a single paragraph is hardle readable. Images seems out of focus.

When I try camera from 'service test' from *#*#7378423#*# it was good with proper focus, but those images are not saved I think!

Now I am tired of taking photos with my friend's phone and sending them to mine.I am going back to GB now.

Also completely blurred thumbnails (on PC ) and blurred screen after taking snap(which is of no use noe).

I don't care about thumbnails but just want my image clean

i have the same problem..

my phone's camera's quality has changed after the ICS update..it loses focus, color vibrance, and sharpness. When viewing the photos in the phone, the photos seem to be nice (maybe it's because of the Mobile BE) but when uploaded or transfered to the PC, the quality changes. I hope Sony could fix this problem..

And i have the same problem with my Xperia Mini ST15i...I was updated a few days a go to ICS and olso have problem with the camera...When i use 3mpx the pictures is great just like on GB,but when i turn 5mpx the quality of pictures is so blurred.Video is lagy...On GB it was super.I just hope that new update will solve this problem...I just like taking pictures and nou i must to wait for the new update to enjoy in my mini again...Updated with SUS. Update+Reset.Clean instalation...On a light is to sensitive and for that colours are not god...So please do someting for camera.Let it be just like on GB or bether with new update...I take lots of pictures with GB and i nou that on ICS is someting wrong with preferences in camera on ICS...

I bought the xperia mini pro and I have the same problem with the camera. The pictures always have a lot of noise. Please Sony ericsson, do something about it. It is a nice phone overall and I use the camera a lot but now I cannot use it anymore.

Me too facing this same problem with my new phone updated from Gingerbread to Icream Sandwich 4.0b version updated from PC companion when will this camera issue be fixed? can anyone expert please let us know when is this issue gonna be fixed camera is an major feature on a phone should we keep lagging on low quality camera and video on ICS forever?
