Xperia M4 Aqua, main camera broken...

Hi,

The main camera of my xperia m4 aqua started to glimp since some weeks, it would not be available and by just pressing the carcase at this area it would work. Looks like some loosy connector, but I was told by a shop where I were just passing by that the camera is just burnt... broken, if you want, replacement around 35€, but did not have the time to stop to have it done

Is it complicated to replace it by myself? Where I live I'm told that it is the value of a new mobile, but considering 35€... I may take it. Anybody can help me finding spares and how to replace it?

you can DIY but it will void the warranty and the phone might not be waterproof anymore; you can check ebay or google for spare parts.

You would also lose any waterproofing the handset holds, its best to contact Sony Mobile Customer Care and speak with them regarding a repair on the device, they can clarify if this was due to a manufacturing defect of some kind.
