Xperia M black screen

My device is working fine everything works, but the screen is black phone vibrates I can receive calls/texts even touch is working. what should I do?

I don't want to go to service center coz they gonna take a lot of time to repair my device also the device is not in warranty period so is there any easy way to fix this issue?

also, if I have to change the LCD *not digitizer since its working* how much will it cost? I have asked  the price in some retail shops some says 1400/- Rs. I checked online the price is starting from 550/- to 1390/- Rs. IDK about service center price I think they will cost me 1400 + 250*service tax. I guess*

I'm sorry to hear that, but the digitizer and the LCD are one piece since they are glued together, you will have to replace both. As for pricing check ebay or other websites.

thanks @uliwooly do you think that the problem is caused by software or hardware?  I'm using cm12.1 r8 now and I think display drivers can cause this kinda problem *if  I use a custom ROM  for long period it gets buggy so that's why I think this might be a display driver error* also https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnCsP44IRto in this video he replaced the LCD so that means only LCD can be changed

I stand corrected, it seems that the Xperia M since its not waterproof you can separate the LCD and the digitizer. As far as if its a hardware or software issue, its hard to tell, you could flash Sony's firmware and test it.
