Hi mill13,

In this situation, I can advise that this is likely related to a software issue, I suggest that you run a software repair on the handset to resolve this issue.
To repair the phone software
1. Install PC Companion on a Windows PC from Support
2. In PC Companion, under Support Zone and click Start.
3. Under Phone Software Update, click Start.
4. Click repair phone.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions.
I hope this helps.

Still have the same probem. Took it back to the vodafone shop who sent it off to be repaired - was gone 4 weeks, got it back yesterday and still have same problem (100% last night @ 10.25pm this morning @ 7.00am dead 0%) - they apparently had replaced the "faulty mechanical component" according to their log! upshot is that it's now currently winging it's way back to Dublin for another months holiday no doubt before i get it back with same problem. my only hope is that after this next failed attempt i'll get replacement phone
