Xperia Ion l28h bricked :(

Hello All devs

I was trying to flash a custom kernel from XDAdevs and it bricked the phone.

It does not turn on, this is what it is doing and what i have tried.

phone light indicator goes red when i connect it to a charger or computer, after a moment Sony logo appears for few seconds then it restarts quickly and shows sony again it does that like 6 or 7 times then it stays in a Blank black screen and stays there...

I am not able to get it in fastboot or flashmode, i cannot turn the cellphone on, or do a soft reset.

When i press power +vol up it does not do anything i tried also power+vol up as well for 1 minute.

Does anyone have a software to fix this phone? it was only about 2 weeks old. it was bootloader unlocked.

Please if anyone can help let me know, i have tried everything

try this

connect your phone to the wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 8 seconds > let it charge for 1hr > after 1hr repair it with SUS or PCC

btw did you unlocked the bootloader?

Yes the bootloader is unlocked, i tried SEUS but it never recognizes the phone

Flashtool recognizes the phone when it starts the bootlooping

this is what it shows

While it does the boot loop i tried pressing vol down or vol up button to see if i get the fastboot or flashmode option but it does not do that

i know that warranty was lost because of unlocking bootloader but if i cannot fix the phone is there a way to send it to sony and pay for its fix?

I got this phone from Ebay about 2 weeks ago brand new unlocked

you are probably missing the drivers on your PC

install SUS > restart your PC > run SUS then try again with flashtool

Thanks man, i was able to fix it

What i had to do is after the bootlooping i had to press power +vol up as you said until first vibration

after that i had to be very quickly, i had to connect phone to the computer and press vol up or vol down depending if i wanted fastboot or flashmode.

The trick was to do that very fast, if you are one second late you will got get it.

Im having the same problem like this. I gonna discribe my phone's status right now.

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AS ABOVE.

I AM UNABLE TO CONNECT IN FLASH MODE OR FASTBOOT MODE.

WHENVER I CONNECT IT TO PC WITH VOLUME UP/DOWN BUTTONS PRESSED RED LED GOES ON. NO BLUE OR GREEN LED.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Hey Man,

Facing the same issue.Tried pressing volume up + power during boot loop then connected to the PC.But it vibrates once and again it enters boot loop..

Need Help!!
