Xperia ion Jelly Bean Update

I wanted to ask when are the Xperia ion users getting Jelly Bean update?

Sony is very lazy in providing updates... All other brands have Jelly Bean 4.2 in place and Xperia users are struggling to get Jelly Bean 4.1 update

You pay 35K for a phone and don't even get an OS update for it. Complete waste!!

Guess what, they certified another firmware version for Xperia S. So thats why we should wait even longer. They are trying to fix the bugs in jelly bean for Xperia S and totaly forget that we are waiting too

the people working at sony are really very lame.... Also they have kept a few people on this forum so that they can delete the comments made by frustrated users like us. I have really lost my hope in sony... Will never suggest anyone else from my family/friends to buy sony...

That is what I said. To be true, I don't understand a bit from these certifications and chart, and not interested also :smileywink:.....what I'm interested is...I would like to know is the date, when it is to be in our ION. Thats it!

I would like to know that also. Unfortunately there is no date for the update. Their last words on twitter was that we should expect some news in a week or two, but it's totally unclear wheter we should expect the roll out or news regarding the announcement date.

Yes, totally lame. Their last promise (ONE FROM MANY) was that we will get the update on the end of May, now they are saying we shouldn't expect it sooner than from the second half of June.

You know last year Samsung flagship is expected to get 4.2.2 android this month, while Sony's last year flagship is still on 4.0.4.
