So, you had problems updating to JB and none going back to ICS? I am unaware of anything that Sony has done to update JB for the Ion. I would say, leave well enough alone. Just the million posts of the problems with JB from Sony ad the lack of Sony's willingness to fix the problems.
I, Personally, have never experienced any product like this -- update, but there is problems, so run a 'repair' but htere is problems so run a 'repair' but there are still problems -- offiicial word from Sony = "we have looked in to your problem and have chosen not to pursue it". (Refering to the video recording lag.)?
Buyer beware with Sony products. Their support 'actions' speak volumes that I cannot believe anything that they say.
