Guys I fixed my issue , my camera glass is scratched so I polished it's surface using displex display polish cream which polished it's surface richer than ever so camera is back to normal. . I think there is no problem in software of Xperia ion .so check whether your camera's protective glass is scratched....if it's so order it through fommy.co.in it cost around 600 inr....
thanks dinumoorthy, the service centre guy helped me with this...he cleaned the lens and now the camera is capturing okay...
I HAVE SAME PROBLEM PLEASE HELP HOW MUCH DID ITS GLASS COST (INR)
The glass which covers Xperia ion camera is removable ,u can only polish it:smileywink:
My 3 months old Ion developed the same problem. I took it to the service centre and the problem was found to be scratching of the lens on the back panel. Another Ion owner had also come there with the same problem. The part is said to cost Rs. 1500 to replace.
Moreover, this issue seems to be reported on most Ion phones. I'm totally disappointed with the purchase as even cheaper Xperia models such as J, L or even the E don't have this trouble.
If software reset wont fix it, it should be hardware issue or scratched the camera.
Hi All,
I'm from India, I got this phone for SONY Showroom, now 4months down and my camera does not have the shapness in Picture, seems very blured image.
I'm very much frustrated with the response I recieved from SONY store.
Does this happens due to scratch on the glass? I wonder how image loosen sharpness with scratches.
Any help from you guys will be highly appreciated.
Also I read some posts with some users have faced same issues, can we remove camera glass? if so how can we remove to clean the lens and glass?
Please help!!!
Even I had a lot of problems with ma camera. Got to kno abt the "BLUE COATING" which appears on the cam's protective glass. So before goin to service centre plz try this out... Am sure it'll help.
Spray a little deodrant on a piece of soft cloth, n use it to clean the glass. Aft doin this u'll c the "BLUE COATING" is gone for good.
Ma cam is working much much better now.
NO NEED TO SPEND 1500
