Xperia Go WiFi issues

Hello,

My Xperia Go, model number: ST27i, has recently (couple of months) stopped registering my WiFi network properly.

It is currently running Android 2.3.7 (Gingerbread), in case this has something to do with it.

The phone is able to connect to my WiFi hub, however does not seem to allow me real access to the internet, and so, on apps such as Snapchat, it cannot refresh properly.

The "Browser" does not work either, as no webpages can be loaded.

Help would be much appreciated,
