Xperia Go Refuse the force restart steps.

hello guys !

i have a problem with my xperia go phone, it refuse to open, i tried to force it to restart by press & hold both the volume up key & power key for 5 & 10 seconds but the screen lights up & there is a red light that keep showing for few seconds & the phone won't restart !

this case is from yesterday & it happened twice before & i lefted the phone for couple of hours & it came back to life, but this time the duration is passing 16 hours !

please help !

I'd suggest leaving this to charge for over 4 hours then try the soft reset again. If this fails to resolve the issue then you would need to run the phone through the Update Service program (http://bit.ly/Jb00HG)

Hello ! sorry for the late reply ...but it failed to charge it & how can i run the phone through the update service program ??

Open the Update Service

Agree the agreements

Choose your device (XPERIA go)

Once you stopped at the animation demonstrating how to connect do this...

Your phone, of course needs to be turned off

Hold down only the Volume down key and connect the cable into the computer

Continue holding until SUS says so...

There should be a green LED...

Note: Are you on ICS? Proceeding further will going to upgrade your phone!

i have zero experience with Andriod system !!

Err... You open the Update Service on a PC (Windows)?

...and the Force Restart...

You don't need to Hold the keys too long...

After one rumble from your phone, release the keys and it should reboot...

okay , just tried to do that, the problem remains..the phone refuse to even start !

So it still appears SONY logo and then RED LED and then shuts down? Are you charging your phone?

Man i've been into finals & lots more, the phone was tipacally feeding on the charger for the past few weeks !
the SONY logo doesnt appear at all, but the RED LED is on,never changed !
