Xperia Go cant find my sd card

Just got the phone today and first thing I did was take my micro sd out of my old phone into my new one hoping all my photos and music would transfer over but they are not there. It doesnt even say I have an sd card inserted into my phone. Anyone know how to solve this please I have important pictures on the memory card and would like to be able to save new things on to it with the xperia go.

Seriously buddy... I got this error at first....just do these steps..

1)copy your sd card data to your PC via card reader or some thing like that
2)Format your SD card
3)Put it in your Xperia Go Now.
4)I'm sure it will recognize the SD card now...
5)Well that's it...Copy the sd card data to your SD CARD via Xperia Go..
