You're talking about those grey, red and gold coloured cards right? Those I understand surpass the Class 10 speed range.
While I don't have said card to test myself... To answer your question, yes, it SHOULD work. But you won't be able to get over 10MB/sec write speeds off it (Class 10 speeds). That's limited to the OS and/or hardware. I've not yet seen nor heard of people using those cards on the Arc S.
Some other info you might be interested in...
There was some talk of people using the 64GB variants of those cards in the Arc S without issue. BUT, because the OS (maybe the hardware as well) only supports FAT32, you are not allowed to copy files greater than 4GB to the card.
I personally use a Samsung Class 10 32GB Essentials card. Works a treat and reads at 20MB/sec, and writes at just over 10MB/sec when the phone is connected via MSC to PC (I found file transfers a little slower on MTP connections).
