Sony Xperia M C1905 wont turn on!

My sony xperia m C1905 Wont turn on, i plug it into a wall charger and goes to battery screen then turns straight off, amber led stays on, i have tried to link it up to pc companion and it wont recognize my phone, i have tried holding power button and volume buttons but still does not turn on and i can not get my IMEI number to send it in to get repaired. 

Someone please help.

You can check the box it should have the IMEI number or dial

@Phy if the device doesn't turn on,he won't be able to use that code. But the first suggestion is better.

Connect your device to a wall charger and then press and hold power & volume up for more than 10 seconds. Let it charge for 2
to 3 hours, even if it doesn't seem to be charging. I would also try to get another battery from a same device to replace, and see if it turns on after charging..
