xperia c charging issue

I bought "Xperia C" just 3 week back. Now its not getting charged after connecting the charger for more than 5 hrs. It is showing the "charging" icon, but the % is still the same.  I got the same issue 2 days back also.  Anybody got the same issue ?...

did you tried any other charge .....well try it now

if then the issue remains.

check the battery is getting charged by either inserting it to another device .....

I beleive its may be due to the currept software 

dial*#*#7268312#*#* and check the battery condition....
