Xperia Arc S updating android 4.0

Hi,

 I have tried to update my Sony Xperia Arc S from the Pc but it doesn't work.

The pc and the phone always crash and everything is stuck!

Can someone help me please?

The PC companion software crashed? At what stage?

I'm using the Sony Bridge for Mac cause now I have a Mac.

But the problem is still remaining!

Recent Update.

I finally get the Android Update, but all the apps have been removed.

Is it normal???
