Xperia Arc S call log problem

I cannot view the call log on my phone, when i press the phone icon all i see is the key pad and an empty screen on top, i cannot relate this to anything and i'm not sure what the problem is, Thanks in advance

Maybe your call log is hidden....

Phone>> press menu key>> show call log!
