Please somebody help me, I forgot my password from my XPERIA L, how do I do to reset it?

Please follow the below steps to reflash the phone which will also remove the lock:

1. Download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/
and install it on your PC.
2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
3. Phone Software Update.
4. Start.
5. Repair Phone
6. Continue
7. Accept data removal
8. Next
9. Wait for prepare
10. Select Phone
11. Follow the connection steps

I downloaded the software and installed it on the pc, but when I connect the phone it does not recognize, it asks for the unlock password.
I do not have the password so I want to reset it

Don’t plug the phone it at the start of this or it won’t work. Unplug it, turn it off and just follow the steps above and this will work.
