I have the new firmware 4.0.1.A.0.238 LT15i updated via PCC today.

Seems snappier (wishful thinking).
3D panorama (Did not work yet for me).
3D gallery app.
Screenshots in power menu.
New time widget.

Install it and you will see 5 folders
                                   Custom
                                   Drivers
                                   Firmwares
                                   Loaders
                                   X10Flasher_lib
take the firmware to the "Firmwares" folder
click on Falsh
Press Ok
it will ask you to connect your phone on Flashmode (turn off your phone, press the back button, then connect the USB) press OK

Sony Ericsson doesn't provide a time frame, and if the update its out and the days pass by and you don't get it, most likely the network/carrier is the one to blaim since they want to customize or modify it further

the best sugestion is to flash the latest firmware

Actually, it is hard yo say if you will get the new firmware or not

As SE support told me, my phone was produced for the UAE market, the phone itself was bought in Czech Republic. But, I'm living in Belarus, and I use local carrier, obvously...

Well, I don't know what to expect actually... should I wait UAE update, or should I wait for the Belarus update. I think even SE don't know Is there any rules/standards how SE releses firmaware updates, what is the main point - target market or carrier country?

P.S. phone isn't locked... absolutelly legal, and after complete firmaware fix (restore factory settings, using PC Companion)
