I want to know that why xperia sp shows 786 Mb inspite it has 1Gb  of RAM.

Its 766mb ram, I think remainder is used by OS ???

How much ram does your Xperia SP show? My shows 766MB (?!) and I'm pretty sure it should be 1GB. Maybe that's the reason why ram management is so bad? Phone thinks it has different ram amount than it really has?

Actually we do have 1GB RAM but 258MB is dedicated to GPU and rest is only the normal RAM which we use to multitask. The GPU RAM comes into play when we play games. It is dedicated so that we don't experience lag while playing. Hope i helped you with your doubt.

In Xperia SP specification they said the ram size is 1GB but in my SP the ram size is 840 did my SP have a problem?
