X8 cannot type chinese character?

My mum just got this phone...add a contact but cannot input chinese name...create a sms also cannot input chinese...anyone can advice? Tks  alot...

Hi Richard3121sg, press and hold on the blank space (on write message or Contact name), a Menu will appear, select Input method and then Chinese keyboard.

I have the same problem too...but mine doesn' have a "chinese input" it only have "default input". can you please help me? Thanks a lot.

Hi, goto Settings>Language & keyboard, make sure Chinese keyboard &HW is ticked. Then you should have the options to select.
