X10 not recognized by computer

Hi,

My phone does not load, and gets stuck at the Sony Ericsson loading screen. Have tried to 'repair my phone' using PC Suite, however my phone is not detected at all by 3 different computers, and is preventing me from repairing. Phone appears to go into flash mode, black screen with green light after connecting while holding back button, but tries to boot a minute later (and failing to do so).

Have tried multiple computers, installing/unintalling PC suite, SEUS, safe mode, windows xp (32 and 64 bit), win 7. Tried hard reset that I read about (start phone holding menu, back and power buttons) to no avail. Have tried 3 different usb cables.

Any ideas why my computer cannot detect my phone? It seems bricked Slightly_frowning_Face

Flashtool won't recognise my phone either, just the same as SEUS and PC Suite. have to contact support, thanks for the help!

does the LED turn on your phone when you connect to the PC or charger?

Yes, when I hold down the back button and connect, I get a green light for about a minute, then it tries to boot (and hangs at Sony Ericsson screen). Then it comes up the battery screen, charging, (led has been red, orange and green at varies battery levels) and will try to boot again. Remains at this screen until i pull the battery. It has had a full charge since, so it's currently at about 90%.

full charge on the powerpoint, not pc

ok. so did you tried this

uninstall PC Companion -> restart your computer -> reinstall it -> restart your comptuer -> turn off your antivirus and firewall -> run SEUS/PCC -> connect in flashmode -> your computer should start looking for the drivers

also try a different micro USB cable, it doesn't has to be sony ericsson, any will do

yes, have tried all of the above. also tried 2 cables as well as my own. the three computers i have tried do not search for drivers. nothing appears in device management.

is it possible something is wrong with the phone, that it cannot even load basic flash mode? i don't have xrecovery or any menu that supercedes the boot process, so I can't flash anything without successful flash mode detection...

i'm all out of ideas, might have to find a new phone :S
