Hello, try downloading Sony Ericsson Update Service to update the phones software, the only problem is you will lose all messages, content etc that isn't backed up or stored on the memory card.
Download Link: http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/download/1/110/61/1304321491/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.5.6.exe
no.. its won't start at all...it's dead.. and i charged for 2 more hours..
nothing happen and phone getting heat. pls help me..
Yes, the phone does not need to be turned on to perform the update. Use the download link I provided above and update the phone it will be turned off during the update process.
Hello KrazyD,
the download link that u provided is out of contents. and already i have updated to android 2.1
y phone is getting heat while plug charger to power.
i cannot see any light or chages while plugged charger. only thing happen is heating..
please help me.. i'm totally upset without my xperia..
The download link I have provided is working for me, even if you have updated to Android 2.1 you can still reinstall the software to try and revive your phone as it might just be a software fault. Are you using the supplied charger that you get when you bought the X10? If so a little heat is to be expected.
yes of course..it's original charger came with box. and i'm using only this charger. but i'm not feeling its expected level heat. after phone got off only its started to heat. befor it was fine.
link is not working... can u give me alternate link or particular that 39mb .exe file.. please.
thanx for the link.. but phone does'nt detect by computer.. why it is...?
This weekend, myself and two friends, with Xperia X10 mini pro, all experienced the same problem. suddenly, the phones started to drain the batteries and the phones and batteries get hot.
The original USB datacable for my friend even got hot and broke while connected to the computer.
My phone, while started, consumes almost the same amount of power that the charger is able to provide.
I reinstalled the android software using updates service, an dhave not yet restored any settings and added any applications, but still, during 8 hours the phone was only able to be charged from 40% to 75%.
When disconnected from the charger it dropped from 75% to 50% in 45 minutes, in standby.
As I have seen the same behaviour on the identical devices, on two different swedish network operators, I suspect it is not an isolated problem.
Could be a bug.
