X10 blank screen/freezing

Have a real problem with my X10. It turns on ok then freezes, if you then press any other button it goes blank. If you take the battery out and then re=insert it and then power on it repeats itself, if I'm luck I can jump one screen.

This is my only means of communication (I guess you can't make calls/texts from a laptop lol)

So any help would be appreciated. Oh, and if you haven't guessed I'm no techie!

You can repair your phone with Sony PC Companion. But it will delete everything so make sure you back up your phone before you repair it.

Got totally fed up with the ever problematic Xperia that I went out and bought a Nokia Lumia 630!

Well, the X10 is an old phone.

And the apps keep getting new updates that get bigger and more RAM and CPU demanding, which will slow down phones with not so much RAM
