Worst after sales service

hi,

Iam one of your customer who had brought sony xperia m4 aqua black on 23.10.15. and now it has suddenly stopped working. After lodging a complaint in the authorized service center they have said that PCB is damaged and it needs to be repaired with a cost of Rs. 9500/-

I would like to bring to your notice the following points:

1: The PCB is said to be internally damaged, how it can happen when the productis all fine without any scratches etc.

2: Estiamte cost of Rs. 9500/- within warranty period, what kind of warranty does sony provides.3:

3: Sony is just trying to make money from customers.

 How can you people demand money for repairing a product under warranty that too when it is the product which is faulty in the first place.

I want a reply on this complaint and want my phone to get repaired without any charges.

Other wise I may have to approach the consumer court for it.

Frustrated customer.

I'm sorry to hear this.

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects and component errors but for more information about your service case you need to contact your Local support team directly. I am unable to follow up on a specific case here on the forum.

Hi,

Local support team is unable to solve the issue, i had registered the call via job no. B1W116092801138, and they say there is internal damage although the handset is in good condition if one can look from outside. But they say that thers is internal damage and i dont understand how can a phone get internally damage like this.  i want Sony to repair this phone at free of cost,. i have lost my trust on your brand, that such a brand make cheap quality phones which get internally damage so soon without any strong reasons of getting damaged.

Awaiting your proper response on my issue of repairs or you guys may take your phone back and refund me the amount. Iam highly frustrated with such cheap quality what sony has provided.

I understand how you feel but I can only recommend that you contact your Local support team again for more information. I do not have access to information related to your repair case so I am unable to answer what kind of damage they found or why it isn't covered by the warranty.
