Wisepilot sent international sms (+447624807159) ?

Hello

I wonder if Sony is aware that Wisepilot sends international sms (+447624807159) for verification?  During the setup, I vaguely recall that it asked to send SMS but little did I realise that they were international, not 1, not 2, but in my case 7 of them!  Good grief!  Needless to say, it has been removed from my phone.  There are better alternative out there which are more transparent in term of costs.

As I understand this should also be stated in the application upon registration. You should be able to chose between SMS or Internet.

I'm sure I didn't see the option for "Internet" in the dialog box.  If there is one, then it was an even worse user experience

   [1] knowing that it requires users to be online to download the maps and use majority of its features and

   [2] that option must have been hidden somewhere. 

Anyway, Wisepilot is no longer in my phone or any of my future phones, so I won't be able to validate your comment.

Same here.  By chance discovered that i have been sent international sms-s via Sony's official app. Sony, whats goin on?!
