Will not switch on

Hi 

Received my E5 two weeks ago... mic doesnt work when on loudspeaker, so no one can hear you.

Two days ago the phone stopped sending txts randomly and last night it has switched oof never to come on again

and the red light stays on for a few seconds then goes....I have tried differetn charges holidng the v+ and on button

for 10 seconds to no avail can someone help me or should I just take it back.

also does not connect to the pc so I cannot use Xperia Companion

Try different wall chargers, if that doesn't work, contact your Local support to get it inspected.

Welcome to the community,

Sorry to hear about this issue, let us see if  we can help resolve it.

Although Xperia Companion cannot see the device, you still may be able to perform a software repair on the device, the handset is turned off during this process so the PC not seeing the device by default is fine.
