Wifi problem after ICS update

Hi,

I have this problem, that when I connect to the internet with my Xperia P throu wifi it will connect but after a minute it will not load pages anymore.

Everything works fine when connecting to the internet with DATA TRAFFIC.....what should i do?

Please help - everything was fine before with Gingerbread.

I updated to ICS yesterday on the 24th/aug.12.

Would it help if i repair the firmware? - and when repairing will all my previously installed Apps be deleted?

WLAN bug seems fixed following the update to 6.1.1.B.1.75 ... I am able to switch between different WLAN access points and 3G in areas without WLAN coverage for the first time in 4 1/2 months!

With 6.1.1.B.1.75 I still can't stream e.g. video with 802.11n with my Asus N66U (latest firmware) router. Works fine with legacy 802.11b/g.

Was that bug fixed for any of you?

I just got an update from the project.

They have not been able to reproduce this problem in the latest software (JB) which is being rolled out gradually right now. I suggest that you update to the latest version of the phone software using PC Companion.

Hi Johan, what you as Sony have demonstrated is poor Customer service. The bug was evident across your Customer base at least until  6.1.1.B.1.75 was partially deployed. See above. I was without WLAN functionality for 4 1/2 months. Problem was gone with  6.1.1.B.1.75 and has also not reappeared with JB.

I have already upgraded to Android 4.1.2 with 6.2.A.0.400 in late April.  However, the Wifi problem after ICS update still has not been solved.  Can I follow the above instruction to upgrade it to 6.1.1.B.1.75?  In my memory, the previous version is not 6.1.1.B.1.75.  It should be older than this and then from this older version upgraded to 6.2.A.0.400.  Any suggestion?

Hello everyone. A week ago I bought the Xperia U, I usually use Connectify and the wifi worked fine with version 2.3.7, when you update to version 4.0.4 ICS, I can connect to wifi but Connectify from the cell runs out data traffic, this is very annoying for me since I have no wifi at my house I have so far and if I use this program as an extender or wireless signal. Please ask them to take out an update or something to fix it is hopeless.
