Wifi not working properly

Hi

I recently purchased Xperia Ray and upgraded to 4.0. Wifi in it is detecting my ADSL 2+ router but when i try to download some data greater than 10 mb it stops connecting,  is it a problem with my router or dono with the device.

I am using WPA and ch9 for connection.

My other latops and netbooks are working fine connecting to same router.

Please Help

Does it completely drop the WiFi connection when you do this or just the internet connection?

No it still says connected. It works well for browsing (of course a little slow) but download is  not working if i keep my phone idle. Example when i download a App from market around 10 mb i starts well when i keep idle for a minute it says downloading but nothing happens. After coming back too it is not able to connect to router.

The first thing I would advise doing then is updating the firmware of the router. You may need to go through to the manufacturer’s website for instructions on how to do this.

Hi, I had the same problem, and after a restart of the mobile everything was fine.
