WIFI Direct not working!!

Guys,

Wifi direct seems to be a gud option for sharing, but i found that my xperia Go Wifi dirct is not working....its turning on...but i cnt send any file to another phone.....can anyone pls hep me with it??

As far as I know, Xperia Go doesn't support WiFi Direct. So where do you turn this on in the phone?

What are your thoughts about this forum? Let us know by doing this short survey.

After the JB upgrade it shows the option to turn on the WiFi Direct....and it also detects the other phones whose Wifi Direct is turned on...but cannot send or pair?? kindly solve

What happens when you try to send a file via WiFi direct?

I've tried sending a file from my xperia go to another xperia z...and i found it worked perfect...so for your information sir.....Wifi Direct works between Xperia's Only.... i Suppose

Nah, it should work with other phones as well. What phones did you try to send to? Did the other phones support WiFi-D?

I've tried it with SAMSUNG GALAXY S ADVANCE.....but it found to be detecting and connecting...but not sending or receiving files..... then i tried it with one of a frnds Xperia Z...n i found it working perfect.....but it is making use of OFFICE SUITE or FILE COMMANDER wifi drect app for support....

You only told that Xperia Go is not hvng WifI-D???

My first post was incorrect, that's why I changed it. It seems like there might be something wrong with the Samsung phone then, if it works fine with the other Xperia device.

today 1 tried to recieve a file on my xperia go from samsung note 2 but it showed sending failed all the time.
pls help..!!
