Unable to upgrade android version 4.1.2 to 4.2.2

I have xperia z android version 4.1.2

But I checked....Sony launched 4.2.2.
I m Unable to upgrade android version 4.1.2 to 4.2.2
I try everything but its shows you have the latest version. Please help me out.....

Umm that depends on your country and network carriers .. but I guess 4.2.2 is released almost worldwide for XZ try with the following :-

http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/update-service/

Or with PC Companion (PCC)

http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/

Please keep in mind to backup your phone data if possible

version you see on sony's site is mostley for generic phones while branded phones gets theirs difirent way through phone service company that releases it so it is difirent to country and phone service, so if your phone service havent released it yet that could be reason why it says yours is latest version
