wifi connection 'authentication problem'

Hello, I have wifi connection problem with my Sony Xperia Sola.

When I connected to the internet, it shows me 'authentication problem'

But my laptop can access with the same internet connection.

I can connected to the public open network, but can't with my own house connection.

I would like to ask what's the problem? Do I need to reset anything or what?

You should only get this issue if the password to connect to the router has been input incorrectly.

I have the same problem. It is not an incorrect password issue - any other suggestions?

Delete that saved Wi-Fi profile, MrWai...

...and then restart both router and phone, key-in back the password and the problem offs like farts...

I done this in the past 4 weeks when I came down to such problems with my "new" Wi-Fi...

Possibility caused by the WPA2 level passwords, change it to WEP and see...

I went to Settings, checked for WIFI and ticked it OFF and then after a few minutes, put it back on again. I had changed my Google password. So I reset that as well.

This solved the authentication problem.

I simply wrote wrong password 100times... When I got it right it worked

I already thought it was a big WiFi issue or bug again

But rewriting the password key worked out!

It didnt even show "wrong key".... I got confused.

I have checked and double checked - wifi password is correct.  Any other ideas?
