I'm Indonesian guy,who lives in Philippines.

When Monday i went to swimming pool.and then i bring my xperia v together with me.I swim on 1,5 metes and also i just use my phone not always.cause i'm also swimming
and then I take a picture with gentle and also taking a video with gentle also.and then after finished my swim.then,I had a bad feeling.so,i open my phone Back case,and then i found there is water inside on phone.even on the battery place.so and then i just mop it .and then trying to Blow it from the jack port.and then i went to my room very fast.and then I putted my phone in front of my fan with higher wind.and then I try to made my phone on.the screen was working ,but...so dim...I can't see anything until now.but i can see it with flash light.

And now,this day ,tuesday.

i bought 1 KG Rice and then I put my phone Over there.they said"To remove Moistures from Your phone"SO until now...I put 20.39 Philippines clock i still make my phone on the rice container.And as i remember,Xperia V is a water resistant phone..SO if i make my phone in the rice,Is that working?Or i must wait until 4-5 days later?

things i want to ask:

1.What should i do?Is that work puts the xperia v with the rice?

2.What will happen if until now and soon there is water inside?

3.What thing's the alternative ways to make it dry and fit again?

4.How much is the cost?to fix it

According to the IP55 and IP57 which Xperia V follows it's only resistant down to 1 metre and up to 30 minutes in fresh water.

Putting the phone in a bag of rice in a couple of days is a good trick but it's hard to say for how long time you should have it in the bag so the moisture can vanish. Note also that this is not guaranteed to work.

But actually i take my phone very fast.only 10 seconds nad 2 minutes for making video ..ten seconds for take a photo.

so what Should I do??
It's hard to go to SONY xperia center in philippines.there is no servish center and then they didn't want to help me last time.(changed the chrome) ..

My phone still in the rice container.
is that work if i blow it with Hair dryer??

Hi! I have the same problem as well. I try put on the rice for 2-3 days and hairdryer with cool air but still the screen wont open. Please please please help...

it's useless.now ,my xperia V is tottaly dead
and then my Xperia V just finished repair from SOny xperia Center.
i will cost money again
I don't have any Money anymore.
I hope there is miracles for me
