Why I am still on 4.2.2 with Z1 ??

I was very angry when I see that another update to 4.4

I have still 4.2.2 on my Z1.

I tried SUS and PCC, but both show that I already have the latest software.

I do not know if there is something wrong with my Z1?

I live in Central Europe, and I do not have 4.3 available.

When will I get 4.4?not before summer.

Has anyone else the same problem? Am I the only one?

Is your phone branded on a specific network?It could be related to it.

I live in central Europe as well and I don't have the 4.4 too. I'm on 4.3 (Z1).

Then why not just download the TFT en flash it manualy with the flash tool?

Just make sure you pick the wright one, and the latest flastool.

It won't void your warranty and it's the quickest way to get the firmware.

I found the problem.

Some of my friends have Z1 from the same provider, but purchased later.

They have the latest updates, which they have received, immediately after the announcement.

Thus, we find that models that were purchased in October and have the software id 1278-7942 R2A, did not get any updates.

Purchased in December, they're all getting updates on 4.4.2

So the same provider, same model, only the second ID.

Is there a possibility to change the id?

Is sony forgot to update this device?

I have informed my, provider, who did not know of the problem.

They sent questions to the supplier and waiting for a formal reply, and request that the update also this device.

I just hope that it will update directly to 4.4.2 do not want to wait the next six months.

I would also like an answer from Sony.

The update has to be authorised by your network which inturn need to inform Sony - If your network didn't inform sony which Customization numbers had been authorised then how would Sony be able to allow the update
