Why when i'm playing or manipulating my phone after about 1-2 minutes, the brightness of the display go down (not turn off, only slightly lower to the normal brightness)
I've read that it's due the ambient light sensor, but i'm not sure... If it is, Can I deactivate the ambient light sensor???
do you have automatic brightness or manually set?

I don't found the way to turn on/off the automatic brightness... In settings --> Disiplay---> Brightness, my phone only shows a brightness bar.
you can use an app todo so Power Widget

My Acro S running latest build of ICS does this too. I just got the phone (new) a couple weeks ago. My wife has the Xperia S which is basically the same phone and her phone does not do this.
The Power Saver app is NOT on ... ambient light sensor appears to be working as I went into the service menu with my phone and wife's phone at the same time and the sensors (both phones) were responding to the light in the same manner. Display brightness set the same on both phones.
If I power off my phone then it will come back in brightness to match my wife's phone but after several minutes it dims for no reason. Battery level the same on both phones too.
