New firmware

When I check the updates through phone or through the Sony PC companion it says my phone is up to date but if I g to web site it says the new version is 10.3.A.0.423, I have version 10.1.A.1.434, so how can I update my firmware

I guess you have to wait for your mobile phone operator to release the update. Soon we will get it! 😃

Well my provider do not have this phone so that means I have to wait forever. There needs to be other official ways. I should be able to download the firmware and load it to the phone. I know there are other ways but do not wat to use them if I don't have to.

Totall agree.  This is a joke.  I bought my phone unlocked/sim free.  I can't believe this firmware update has been out for 2/3 months and still no sign of it in the UK.  They are already talking about the next firmware update being rolled out and we still haven't received the last.  4.2.2 update is due also which will probably get to us in the UK around 2014.  I moved away from Apple as I thought Android was the smart move.  It may well be if you buy a mobile with decent manufacture support.

We're now rolling out the 4.2.2 update for Sony Xperia Z / ZL

It may not be available for all countries/operators yet but try updating using PC Companion/Update service.

this is a slap to all unlock users or what? we pay full price and still stuck with 434...

Sony you rolled out three other updates after you released 434 but none of those update were made available to sim free phones in the UK . Care to explain this sentence ...

When you contact local support all I get told is "we are are in process of updating the firmware". Sony management should work at the BBC.

Well I finally did the manual update everything worked but now the phone is quite laggy I believe this might be the reason why they do not release it for us. It has all functions working but when I scrole between screens the icons appear after a short lag. ı don't know if this is because I did an istal without deleating the data. So all my programs was still working as they should. If it bothers me a lot I will try a clean instal and see how that goes.
