White Patch on Xperia Screen Within a Month

Hello Sony,

Besides echo problem in the phone, i was shocked to see a white patch on the screen of my sony xperia tipo (single).

I would appreciate if you can provide me with the further assistance on this white patch.Attached the screenshot for your reference. picture is taken from another mobile

To see the white patch, i rouded of with the black pencil and patch is clearly visible when you see this from downwards(put your head lower side of the screen and watch)

Sony Please suggest and help!

Sorry for the delayed reply. This looks like it may be a hardware issue which would require returning for repair; however I would advise running an update/repair first to rule that out:

1. Before you start you have to download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/

and install it on your PC.

2. Once installed on your PC, double-click the PC Companion icon on your desktop to start the update.

Note! For some models you will be prompted to do a backup prior to the update and then restore.

3. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.

4. Phone Software Update.

5. Start.

6. Repair Phone

7. Continue

8. Accept data removal

9. Next

10. Wait for prepare

11. Select Phone

12. Follow the connection steps
