Clear data for smart connect under settings-apps-all.

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
You could also try accessing the Smart Connect application, press on the charger and turn off any events associated with inserting the charger.
Menu > Smart Connect > Charger > look through the events.
If this does not help, try Alexdons method to clear out the data.
