I put a pin password on my mobile phone, the Sony Xperia SP and the pin I put on is different to the one that opens my phone. I have tried a lot of methods to hard reset the phone, however they won't work as well. Also, there isn't a "forgotten password" button as well to help me access my phone through my Google Account.
Please I need all advice and help,
Thank you.
Your only option is to perform a system repair - This will factory reset your phone as part of the security features
Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process
If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

Does the lock advise that it is apart of some form of security application, such as McAfee, if this is then contacting that developer would be beneficial.
I am sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.
