What about NEW BUG with proximity senzor - IR led? Somebody found this bug... Is there anybody who also faced this bug?

Hi,
I found proximity sensor blinking when my phone has a missed call.
To simulate this issue please give missed call to Xperia-L phone from another mobile.
Now, just watch the sensor.
The blinking can be stopped by just calling manually.

Hi people, i'm from chile, I bought an operator free c2104 so theoretically i shouldnt have any trouble updating to the last firmware, on dec 30 pc companion notified me with .12, i updated and when i turned on i saw the same bug on the screen (the tearing in the upper part) so i checked settings>about phone and for my surprise it said i was still on .26 even if pc companion said the update process was succesful, then i tried to repair firmware just in case it was some registry issue (dunno even if android has that) i dont want to use flashtool but SUS keeps telling me i have the last update avalible, any suggestion on how to update or will i have to wait until OTA is out? thanks

I confirm the proximity sensor bug. It appears only when having a missed call and only when the screen is turned off / locked. When screen is unlocked and active the proximity sensor works fine. Tried a factory reset, no change.

Try updating from Sony Update Service tool. The rollout might be delayed by your carrier.

Don't worry you will get it. Sony Mobile's global site hasn't acknologed it yet (here). I haven't got it either (UK generic, no network lock). We should get it soon though. :smileysmileywink:

Reading about comments i think i won´t update the phone at all. I will wait for a better update version.
