What a company

Got my z2 less than a year ago. Dropped it in 10cm of water for half a minute and touch got ruined. Went to the closest company and they said i had to pay for repairs. How cheap are you!!! False advertising at its finest. I should at leat got my "waterproIf" phone repaired!!!

Did you requested a vacuum test? 

Perhaps when you dropped the phone the covers weren't firmly closed? are there any cracks or damage to the phone?

Phone was sealed. No cracks anywhere since phone wasnt even dropped. They said it caused damage to screen and will require a new screen. I sent them a message but with no response. Im gonna talk to my local sony company tomorrow see if they might change their minds or find out the problem is different
