weird problem streaming media

hey guys, i have a weird problem with my PS3, Vaio and xperia z. whilst streaming video from the vaio to the ps3 everything is fine until i put my phone in the same room as the laptop. then, the video freezes and or stops with errors. then when i turn my phone off the video plays without a problem. its as if the phone is intefering with the laptop. just thought i should mention it so that tech knows about it and that anyone else is having the same problem

Hard to say what the cause could be but check the settings in your router so that you don't have a limit on number of devices that can be connected at the same time. Also try putting your router, computer and phone in the same room and see if it might be a signal problem.

there are only three devices connected wirlessly to the router and the ps3 is through an ethernet cable. all appliances are inthe same room. i am just about to clean up the laptop to make sure its not that.
